Music Video or Documentary?

I was unsure as the whether I wanted to do a documentary or a music video but made my decision purely on the basis of which I love most. I decided that I am going to create my own music video because it is what I feel most comfortable with and I love listening to music. I also thought it would be interesting for me to interpret the lyrics of a song and come up with ideas of what I would like to see in a music video. I thought a documentary would be difficult to come up with ideas for as it would be difficult to come up with an original idea and to get the facts right about what you are filming.

I will continue to do audience research and research into similar products to help me pull my ideas together for my music video. I have already had some thoughts on which song I would like to do which is 'Fireworks' by a rock band 'You Me At Six'.
